You Can find my CV Here.

I graduated from University of Nottingham Medical School in 2001 and completed my ENT higher surgical training on the West Midlands training programme.

I am a consultant ENT surgeon at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth treating all aspects of general and paediatric ear, nose and throat conditions and I have specialist interests in paediatric ENT, and disorders of the ear and Eustachian tube (adult and paediatric). I gained fellowship sub-specialty training in Otology (ear problems) at Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In 2012, I was awarded the Intercollegiate Gold Medal for the best performance in the FRCS ORL-HNS examination, which is the final exam taken before 'graduating' as a consultant. My international training has also taken me to the Causse Ear Clinic, Beziers, France, the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and the IWK paediatric hospital, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I have published extensively in the peer-reviewed literature and have presented my work internationally.

In addition to my clinical work I am also Lead Paediatric ENT Surgeon; Service Line Director (Head of Department) for ENT & Audiology at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth; and Portfolio Lead for ENT ST3 National Selection.

My family and I have just returned from a 12 month career break, during which we sailed our boat from Plymouth to the Caribbean (via France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco and the Canary Islands), lived with a Mayan family in Guatemala and learned Spanish for 5 weeks, and finished with a road trip from Florida to New York.
